Tips & Instructions before waxing
- It’s important to keep the skin dry before waxing. Be sure to apply powder. Waxing without powder can cause side effects like skin stripping, especially on delicate areas (the skin may peel off)
- For effective hair removal, the hair should be at least 1 cm in length
- For sugaring waxing, it is crucial to apply the gel in the opposite direction of hair growth and remove it in the direction of hair growth
- The faster you remove the wax, the less you feel sting
- Depending on the season, you can heat it in the microwave for about 5 seconds to 1 minute to make it easier to use. (Be careful of burns)
- After waxing, keep the waxed area clean and pay attention to moisturizing care
- Starting 3 days after waxing, regularly exfoliating can help prevent ingrown hairs (folliculitis)
- The reason for exfoliating is to remove dead skin cells. Especially in dry winter, dead skin can build up more easily, so regular exfoliation and moisturizing are recommended
- It is safe for pregnant women to use
- Sugaring waxing is easy to use, even for beginners
How to do self-waxing
1. Cleanse and remove moisture
After cleaning the area to be waxed, apply powder. The less moisture there is, the better the waxing will work
To prevent skin stripping, it is highly recommended to apply powder whenever possible
2. Apply waxing gel and proceed with waxing
Apply the waxing gel in the opposite direction of hair growth, then press the muslin cloth onto the gel
After quickly rubbing the cloth to ensure it sticks well, remove it rapidly in the direction of hair growth
3. Cleanse the area and apply moisturizer
Wash the area thoroughly with running water, then apply moisturizer
Especially in the dry winter months, proper exfoliation is essential to prevent ingrown hairs
